Medieval Monday: Bambi Lynn Guests With a Glimpse of LUCAN

Here it is week five of Medieval Monday's Villain theme and the fifth of the excerpt post hop.  Today, I welcome Bambi Lynn's LUCAN. If you'd like to brush up on last week's installment, you can find it excerpt four on Laurel O’Donnell’s blog: http://www.laurel-odonnell.com/blog.html

EXCERPT

Angus smirked at him. “Rhomas!” he barked. “Fetch the horses.” They all waited, weapons held at the ready. Angus whispered to Neala. Whatever he said made her sob. Tears streamed down her face. She shook her head from side to side.

Rhomas returned with two horses and held Neala while Angus mounted. It was then she looked at him, her eyes saying all she could not. She mouthed the words, I’m sorry. Lucan knew she blamed herself. She should never have left the cottage without him. He shook his head, but she did not see as Angus dragged her onto the animal’s back and instructed Rhomas to come with him.
